A new report counters recent claims over Liverpool and supposed transfer target Renato Sanches. The Reds have a clear stance on the midfielder.
This week saw two separate claims over Liverpool and a transfer for Renato Sanches.
They said that Liverpool had agreed an £18m deal with Lille for the 23-year-old Sanches.
But now the Liverpool Echo have stepped in to rubbish the claims. They say the Reds have absolutely no interest in Sanches – neither in January or the summer.

What RTK has to say
This was an easy one to get wrapped up in. Sanches is a big talent who didn’t cut it at Bayern Munich or Swansea City.
the potential is there, though, and that only spurred on the imagination over what Jurgen Klopp could do with the player.
But as we mentioned in our piece here, it was never something to hold your breath over.
After all, it was an Italian outlet claiming an English club agreed a fee with a French club over a Portuguese player. When it’s difficult to see a thread with the source, you can usually dismiss it.
The Le10Sport report is different, of course, being it’s a French outlet. Still, it appears there was little more than rumour in their piece.
We can give up on the Sanches dream, then. That probably just means we move the imagination over to Yves Bissouma, another midfielder Liverpool reportedly want (per ESPN).
He’s likely an easier fit, for one, while he doesn’t have the black mark of two failures with both a big club and a Premier League club like Sanches.
That’s certainly one to keep an eye on. As for Sanches, we can probably rule that out.
