Liverpool are never far from the gossip pages. The injury crisis at the club has served to increase the amount of transfer rumours as outlets speculate at which positions the club will add depth to. According to reports, Real Madrid are set to battle Liverpool for Yves Bissouma.
Yves Bissouma story
Brighton signed Yves Bissouma from Lille in 2018, paying a fee believed to be around £15m for the midfielder.
The Malian midfielder has become a mainstay of the Brighton lineup this season, starting 13 of his side’s games this term.
He’s a combative midfielder with an eye for a tackle and strong reading of the game.
Kopites will remember he put in an impressive display when the Reds were held to a 1-1 draw on the South Coast this term.

Real Madrid and Liverpool in for Bissouma
According to ESPN, Liverpool are considering a £30m move for Yves Bissouma.
The outlet believes that the Reds are weighing up moving for the Malian as early as January.
The Reds face stiff competition though. Defensa Central in Spain has claimed that Real Madrid are looking to challenge Liverpool for Yves Bissouma.
The Spanish giants have allegedly been impressed by the ex-Lille man’s form since he became a regular starter.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Yves Bissouma would be a smart move.
The midfielder would surely be brought in as a direct replacement for Gini Wijnaldum should the Dutchman end up leaving in the summer.
If Real Madrid are involved we could see the price hiked.
The Spanish giants have financial might which the Reds are unwilling to compete with.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.
