Blackburn Rovers scraped a win over Rotherham on Wednesday, thanks in part to another Harvey Elliott goal.
The teenager scored an 80th-minute equaliser before Adam Armstrong netted a 98-minute winner for Rovers.
It’s a result that lifts them to 11th in the Championship, just four points off the Play-Off positions. And Elliott is playing a huge part in pushing them that way.
This is Elliott’s fourth goal of the Championship season, to go along with four assists. It’s the latest in a string of great form, too – the 17-year-old has three goals and an assist in his last five games.
It’s worth just saying that age again – 17.
Elliott is playing far beyond his years and looks like one of the brightest prospects in the country right now. Understandably, Liverpool fans are excited that the on-loan youngster looks so good.

We’re excited, too. Elliott is shining brightly in the Championship and looks like a star already. And he’s only going to get better.
It’s not like he’s playing for an elite Championship side, either – they’re only midtable. Yet Elliott is still managing to perform consistently.
The really exciting thing now is this run of form. He’s got three goals and an assist in his last five, as we way, and hopefully, he can extend that over the Christmas period.
Because if things have clicked – and the form suggests they could have – then this could turn into an explosion.
Fans should absolutely have one eye on Blackburn this season.
