Jurgen Klopp believes there are six Tottenham Hotspur players to worry about other than Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. The Liverpool boss picked them out.
There’s more to it than just Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. That’s how Jurgen Klopp sees things as his Liverpool side prepare to face Tottenham Hotspur.
The boss sees a very dangerous team who will push the Reds to the limit today. And they have a number of attacking players to make that happen.
“Unfortunately, if we keep them [Son and Kane] quiet, they still have a lot of really good players with threats from a lot of areas on the pitch,” said Klopp, per the BBC.
“Steven Bergwijn plays an important role in counter-attacking moments. Tanguy Ndombele needed a bit longer to settle at Tottenham, but he’s now 100% there.
“Giovani lo Celso, Moussa Sissoko, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a proper unit in midfield. It works well together. And Gareth Bale [when he is] fit again is another threat.”

Klopp’s right, of course – you don’t get to the top of the Premier League simply on the back of two players. But we do wonder how much this will all come into it.
We all know Jose Mourinho and we all know how he’s likely to set up at Anfield. Spurs will be hard to beat, knowing that a point robs their title contenders of a valuable two.
And with that in mind, we think their attack may well just come down to Kane and Son. They’ll want to counter quite heavily and may believe they can do it with just two players.
Outside of those two, it may be a very, very pragmatic Spurs team designed to stifle Liverpool. Yes, they have threats but this may well be a 9-and-2 kind of system.
So while Spurs have plenty of attacking talents, Kane and Son are by far the most worrisome. Potentially, they’re the only two Liverpool need worry about.
