Drab draw

The first half against Fulham was one of the worst halfs we’ve ever seen from a Jürgen Klopp team.

The Reds were atrocious.

If it wasn’t for Alisson then we could’ve been looking at another Aston Villa result.

The second half was better but not enough, there was a lack of ideas and a lack of intensity.

The fixture list appears to be taking its toll on the players physically and mentally, today just wasn’t good enough.

We were lucky to get a draw.

Curtis Jones standout v Fulham

In the second half in particular Curtis Jones was a stand out performer against Fulham.

The Scouser was always looking to break forward.

He was unlucky not to score at the end of a sublime run which saw him shake of Fulham challenges as he ran from his own half to the edge of the hosts’ penalty area.

His performance was a positive from an atrocious team display.

He thoroughly deserves to keep his place in the side for the coming weeks.

James Pearce labelled him ‘excellent’.

He was the best by a mile.

He’s just 19-years-old.

He was a shining light in a bad side.

He’s only going to get better.
