Liverpool had the opportunity to pull clear at the top of the league this afternoon. Instead we saw a truly dreadful performance. The lads just weren’t at the races for large portions of the game as they limped to a 1-1 draw a Fulham. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Fulham:

Alisson Becker – 9
The Brazilian made all the difference for the Reds, it could’ve been an Aston Villa repeat if it wasn’t for him.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6
The Scouser is still finding his feet having been out for a month. He got better as the game went on.
Fabinho – 8
The Brazilian made more exceptional tackles tonight, it was never a penalty.
Joel Matip – 7
The Cameroonian did enough, the issues were ahead of him.
Andy Robertson – 6
Andy Robbo, published author, wasn’t as lethal as we’re accustomed to.
Curtis Jones – 7.5
The Scouser was ineffective in the first half but he was looking to try and quicken the pace where he could, he earned a decisive free kick in an impressive second half.
Gini Wijnaldum – 5.5
See above. Minus the quickening of pace.
Jordan Henderson – 6
The skipper needed to do more in the middle, though we could see he was barking at his forwards for more movement.
Mo Salah – 6
He took his penalty well but he wasn’t impactful enough in his general play.
Sadio Mane – 6.5
The wide man had some bright moments but they weren’t decisive enough. He beat his man but couldn’t do much after that.
Roberto Firmino – 5
A few smart moments but he often found the ball caught under his feet or he played the wrong pass.
