Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has revealed who he believes are the two fastest players at the club – and it’s not Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.
Jurgen Klopp is blessed with some of the quickest players in the Premier League including the aforementioned attacking duo who have ripped up the division in recent years.
So when it was put to Robertson on his Instagram story who would win in a 100m sprint, the Scotland captain gave an answer that a number of Kopites would find surprising.
“It would be between the two centre-halves, Virgil and Joey. Don’t think the wingers would have a chance.
“Hendo would love to put his name in the mix, so would Trent. Nowhere near it.
“It’s a race between the two quick centre-halves.”

It’s not just Robertson who believes Liverpool’s first-choice central defensive pairing are the fastest at the club with reports in 2018 backing up the left-back’s theories.
According to EuroSport, both Van Dijk and Gomez have racked up the top speeds for Liverpool with the latter marginally coming out on top.
Gomez, 23, recorded a rapid 21.6mph against Leicester City back in September 2018.
His defensive counterpart Van Dijk, 29, was second with a top speed of 21.5mph.
Mane and Alexander-Arnold followed the defensive duo with top speeds of 21.4mph and 21.1mph.
Robertson himself was fifth on the list ahead of both Salah and Roberto Firmino with an impressive top speed of 21mph.
Georginio Wijnaldum also clocked up enough speed to be included on the list with the midfielder boasting a score of 20.7mph.
