Liverpool have been more than unlucky with injuries this season. The Reds problems have been persisting throughout the campaign, even into pre-season. Good news has been hard to come by when it comes to fitness, thankfully we’ve finally got some. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is in contention for the Liverpool trip to Fulham.

Oxlade-Chamberlain injury
Liverpool have been without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain since pre-season.
The England international pulled up in training in Austria with a knee problem and hasn’t been seen in the side since.
He has been pictured in rehab making considerable progress but fans have been nervously waiting for news on his return.
The Ox has proven to be a key part of the side when he keeps fit for a few games in a row, his dynamic bursts from midfield were critical to the Reds’ run to the Champions League final in 2018.
Oxlade-Chamberlain return near
Paul Gorst of the Liverpool ECHO has handed Kopites an update they’ll be delighted with.
The journo tweeted that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is likely to be in contention to face Fulham this weekend.
The Ox was in training with the first team today, giving him every chance of making it into the squad for Sunday.
What RTK has to say
What excellent news.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain being in contention to face Fulham is the update we all needed.
The Ox has been out for so long and it is so disappointing to see him out of the squad.
He is so easy to like; he works hard and plays attacking football.
We can’t wait to see him back in action again, on his day he’s one of our best.
