Liverpool beat Wolves convincingly at Anfield this evening to move joint top of the Premier League table. The Reds were irresistible as fans were welcomed back to Anfield for the first time since March. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Wolves:

Caoimhin Kelleher – 8.5
The youngster had a blinder yet again, never phased and always assured.
Neco Williams – 7
The Welshman plays better when he’s on a yellow card. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know why – he just does.
Fabinho – 9
The Brazilian was ghosted by Adama Traore once but that happens to the best of us. Aside from that one poor decision he was impeccable.
Joel Matip – 9
The Cameroonian was as composed as ever, a mountain at the back. His goal was thoroughly deserved.
Andy Robertson – 9
Andy Robbo, published author, is the best left back in the world bar none and he showed why tonight.
Curtis Jones – 8
The Scouser is going to be a marvellous player. The maturity he’s been showing is unreal.
Gini Wijnaldum – 9
The Dutchman’s is indomitable in the middle. His goal was unreal. Sign the contract Gini.
Jordan Henderson – 8
The skipper is just so frighteningly consistent. What a captain, what a footballer.
Mo Salah – 8.5
Mo was lethal as ever this evening, his first half goal was spectacularly well taken.
Sadio Mane – 8.5
The wide man almost got his goal, we’ll give it to him in our hearts. What a showing from Sadio.
Roberto Firmino – 8.5
Bobby is back. His use of the ball was a joy to behold. His vision, his dribbling. What a player.
