Liverpool have a fearsome forward line. The Reds attacking trio has been terrifying defenders for a few years now. Each man brings his own quality to the table. One of them has been afforded some high praise. ESPN has named Sadio Mane as the best winger in the world.

Sadio Mane superstar
Liverpool signed Sadio Mane from Southampton in 2016.
The Reds paid the Saints £34m for the Senegal forward.
Since his arrival at Anfield he has become an absolute world beater.
We’ve seen him mature in his game over the years.
He is now as capable on the ball as off the ball. The forward has been developed into a pressing machine.
Mane is also a keen provider, last term he netted 18 and provided seven in the league.
ESPN name Sadio Mane best winger in the world
ESPN have once again rounded up the best ten players in the world in each position.
The outlet has been drooling over Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool in this season’s rankings.
A number of Reds stars have topped the table in their position.
ESPN has ranked Sadio Mane as the best winger in the world, writing of the 71-capped Senegal star:
“Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Mane combine so seamlessly as a trio that we probably don’t appreciate just how good Mane is as an individual.
“Is any player more fun to watch? Or more of a headache to face? Or a more complete package?
“He has so many strengths to his game — pace, touch, work rate, finishing ability — that it’s hard to highlight any one.
“Former Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher says Mane is pushing John Barnes for the title of Liverpool’s best left winger ever.”
What RTK has to say
ESPN giving Sadio Mane the recognition he deserves.
The Senegal forward is an utter joy to watch.
The way he changes direction and the way he beats defenders, the way he hounds the opposition when out of possession – we are lucky to have him.
Hopefully he’ll stick around for a few more years and act as tutor to Diogo Jota.
