Speaking ahead of the game on Wednesday night, Atalanta star Robin Gosens said Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best in the world.
Alexander-Arnold injury
Trent Alexander-Arnold missed the Reds’ clash with Atalanta this week through injury.
The Scouser picked up a calf problem against Manchester City and hasn’t been seen since.
The right back is thought to be at least a couple of weeks away from a return.
Jürgen Klopp will be anxious to get the youngster back into the side as his team is dropping like flies in the midst of this injury crisis.
Robin Gosens on Trent Alexander-Arnold
Speaking ahead of Atalanta’s visit to Anfield on Wednesday night, Robin Gosens was full of praise for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Serie A left back was gutted that he wasn’t able to test himself against the Scouser.
The German defender told a pre-match press conference:
“It is a shame [Alexander-Arnold] is not playing tomorrow because as a player I always want to test myself against the very best in the world.”
