Brighton manager Graham Potter believes Liverpool boast a world-class quartet. He’s preparing to face them in Saturday’s early kick-off.
Graham Potter feels Liverpool can put out the greatest front-four ‘in world football’. That’s what he’ll have to come up against tomorrow.
“[Diogo Jota] fits in really well there, with what they’re trying to do, gives them another dimension and be able to play with a front four,” said Potter, per the Liverpool Echo.
“Maybe with [Mohamed] Salah up front and [Roberto] Firmino as a 10 – that can work. You’ve probably got the best front four in world football arguably so credit to Liverpool.
“They’ve identified someone [in Jota] who they think can help strengthen and I think he’s done that.”

Well we won’t argue against that. And we certainly wouldn’t swap Liverpool’s front-four for anyone else right now.
Salah, Firmino, and Sadio Mane were already the best and most-successful front-three in the game. The fact Jota has come in and improved that is quite outstanding.
The tough task, then, is for Jurgen Klopp to somehow find a way to get all four clicking together. And he has to do it in a way that keeps Liverpool solid.
In some way, the injuries helped him there. A depleted defence means that Klopp is short on numbers and has to move players around anyway.
But more importantly, he can’t rely on his defence. Fabinho and Joel Matip are far down the list when it comes to a ‘preferred’ duo, after all.
And if Klopp can’t trust his defence to win the title, he’ll have to rely on a devastating attack. Fortunately, Liverpool have exactly that.
So it’ll be interesting to see how that front-four develops over the season. We back Klopp to find something that works consistently, of course, and when he does, it could very well fire the Reds to another league title.
