Liverpool have one of the strongest first team’s in world football at the moment. Jürgen Klopp has assembled a team for the ages and he’s done it all at a snip of a net spend. One pundit believes that the club should swerve off the tight purse approach, Robbie Savage has backed Liverpool to sign Jack Grealish.
Jack Grealish stand out season
Aston Villa’s talismanic attacking midfielder has always threatened to be a great player.
He has been flirting with the elite in recent seasons, occasionally bringing out moments of magic to highlight his potential.
This term has been a standout one for the Villa star.
Jack Grealish has four goals and five assists in just eight appearances in the Premier League this season, earning a WhoScored rating of 7.97.
He has also impressed for England, putting in a sterling performance against Belgium when the rest of the side were lacking.
Liverpool backed to sign Jack Grealish
Robbie Savage believes that Liverpool could benefit from signing Jack Grealish.
The pundit told BT Sport that the 25-year-old would shine at a bigger club with better players around him and he believes that the top sides should be vying for his signature.
The Express quote the Welshman as saying:
“He has got to be £100m in this transfer market. No doubt about it. He has got to be £100 million.
“Imagine him with better players around him as well.
“Imagine him in a Man City team or Liverpool team. Incredible.”
What RTK has to say
Not for us thanks.
Jack Grealish is an incredibly talented footballer but he consistently lets himself down off the pitch.
It feels like not a season goes by without him being surrounded by some scandal or another.
Whilst he is a joy to watch, we don’t want to risk him damaging the club’s reputation with his antics.
