Liverpool have assembled one of the strongest squads in world football since Jürgen Klopp took over. The first team is made up of stars from across the globe, nearly every continent is featured in the Reds all conquering side. One of our most undroppable players has admitted he could return to his homeland to retire. Alisson has refused to rule out a move to Internacional.
Alisson at Liverpool
When Alisson Becker arrived at Liverpool he was like a knight in shining armour.
Though a more apt metaphor would be he was the final piece of the puzzle.
Prior to his arrival the Reds had been steadily addressing problem issues in the squad.
Jürgen’s Reds were scoring more than enough goals but they were leaking them too.

Virgil van Dijk went some way to plugging the defence but we were still suffering from mistakes in goal from Loris Karius.
The final straw was the German’s hapless performance in the Champions League final as he gifted Real Madrid the win.
Ali arrived from Roma just a few weeks later, agreeing a world record £66.9m fee.
Alisson on Internacional
Speaking to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Alisson admitted he could return to Internacional in the future.
The keeper discussed his plans for his career, saying he intends on playing for a long time, saying:
“I have the desire to return to Brazil, but when it will happen, only God knows. We make plans, but I certainly know that God has something prepared for me in the future, but I’m living in the present for now.
“I know that God has something for me, I want to follow God’s plans for my life, but my heart’s desire for when I return to Brazil, if God goes to answer it, is to return to Inter, home, the club that I love.”
“I have a lot of respect for all the clubs in Brazil, I might even want to play for some other club, but I don’t know if I would be able to go back to Brazil and not go to Inter.”
What RTK has to say
It is quite easy to forget that our most beloved stars are half the world away from their homes.
Whilst we wish they were all born Scousers they often aren’t and it is only natural that they should want to return home at some point.
Thankfully, Alisson leaving us for Internacional, where he played before joining Roma, is some ways a way.
We still have a number of years left with our number one yet.
