Liverpool had an excellent summer transfer window. The Reds brought in a few new faces with each serving a different purpose. One of our summer signings has really hit the ground running, the other has hit the treatment table. Thankfully for Kopites, a recent Thiago injury update is the news fans were crying out for.

Thiago at Liverpool
Liverpool signing Thiago was the story of the summer, for Kopites at least.
The deal was described by a Sky pundit as the best he’d ever seen – understandable given that we bagged one of the world’s best midfielders for just £20m.
Since arriving on Merseyside we have only seen him take on Chelsea and Everton.
The Spaniard came on for the second half at Stamford Bridge and put on a masterclass in dictating play.
He then tested positive for COVID-19 and was ruled out for a couple of weeks.
Thiago returned in the Merseyside Derby and put on another show, picking up Man of the Match as well as an injury after a petulant tackle from Richarlison.
Thiago injury update
The Daily Mail has reported an encouraging Thiago injury update.
The Spaniard is said to still be receiving treatment for the knock sustained in the Derby – it was an horrendous tackle.
However, Liverpool allegedly believe that the midfielder will be ready to return after the international break.
This would mean the Spaniard returning to the lineup to face Leicester City on Saturday the 21st of November.
What RTK has to say
This is the Thiago injury update we were all desperate for.
The Reds have been playing well without him but they would certainly benefit from having him back in the midfield.
There have been occasions when we have stagnated in possession and this is where the midfielder is so vital, he is so inventive with the ball and his passing range is unrivaled.
