Dixon-Bonner injury

Elijah Dix0n-Bonner has picked up an injury which will keep him out for a while, the player has revealed on social media. The playmaker tweeted the news:

Unfortunate to be faced with an injury that will keep me off the pitch for a while. I’ll be working hard to be back doing what I do best as soon as I can.”

Just what the injury is is unclear and we’ll be hoping for more detail on that in the near future.

What RTK has to say

This is an unfortunate blow for the youngster.

In February the midfielder picked up a serious knee injury which sidelined him for some time.

The pause in play meant that the teenager didn’t miss a tremendous amount of football but at this stage in his career any time out feels devastating.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this one, fingers crossed it isn’t as serious as first feared and Elijah can get back to progressing through the ranks in the near future.
