20-years-old, Erling Haaland is one of the most prized footballers on the planet at the moment.
The striker posted ridiculous numbers at Red Bull Salzburg, prompting Europe’s elite to sit up and take notice.
He moved to Borussia Dortmund in January of this year and has since continued his prodigious form in the German Bundesliga.
This season the Norwegian forward has netted seven in seven for Dortmund.
Freund on Liverpool and Haaland
This week Kopites were excited when RB Salzburg director Christoph Freund said he believes Liverpool will sign Erling Haaland in the future. Welt in Germany reported:
“When TV expert Lothar Matthäus enumerated Haaland’s possible switch options in the discussion round, [Freund] agreed with the keyword Liverpool FC : ‘He will land there.'”
This may be something of a clunky translation but it’s more than enough to get excited about.
