In form Hammers

David Moyes is currently leading an in form West Ham side.

You read that right, ole Moyesy has actually put together a pretty impressive string of results.

The ex-Everton boss has seen his side batter Wolves 4-0 and thump Leicester City 3-0.

The Hammers then came from three down to draw 3-3 with Spurs, following the comeback up with a 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

Jarrod Bowen on Liverpool trip

Speaking to the official West Ham United site, Jarrod Bowen was full of confidence ahead of the side’s trip to Liverpool.

The in form Hammer’s winger said of his side’s chances:

“I think we know how strong the Liverpool team is, but on the back of our performances against Tottenham and Man City, we feel we can take it and go there hoping to achieve as much as we can.

“We know they’re going to have a lot of the ball and try to hurt us in different ways, but as long as we defend well and stay compact, which we always need to do away from home and especially at Liverpool, we can give ourselves a great chance.”

What RTK has to say

I never thought I’d be worried about facing a David Moyes led West Ham United but here we are.

Liverpool need to keep their composure on Saturday. The Reds are without a number of senior players and as such we need to keep a cool head and not do anything rash.

The senior pros that are available will have to remain headstrong and not allow mistakes to creep into their game, the last thing we need is Rhys Williams dealing with a three on one because someone misplaced a pass in midfield.

As long as Thiago plays then Bowen can remain as tight and compact as he wants, the Spaniard will pick a hole somewhere.
