Liverpool’s front three have become the envy of world football in recent years. The telepathy of the attacking trio has carved up defences for fun in recent seasons and is continuing to do so. As the triplets approach their 30s the Reds will have to think about replacing them. According to Todofichajes, Real Madrid are targeting Roberto Firmino. The move could trigger a Liverpool approach for Erling Haaland.
Roberto Firmino superstar
Signed from Hoffenheim in the summer before Jürgen Klopp’s appointment, Roberto Firmino has become a pivotal player for Liverpool.
The Brazilian arrived as a goal grabbing attacking midfielder and has since been converted into a pressing false nine.
His contributions have been enormous down the years, he has often wowed us with his vision, flair and creativity.
He hasn’t had the strongest start to this season but we have every faith he’ll recover his form eventually.

Real Madrid want Roberto Firmino
According to Todofichajes in Spain, Real Madrid are chasing Roberto Firmino.
The outlet claims that the Spanish giants have been in contact with the striker’s representatives as Los Blancos look to revamp their lacklustre forward line.
Things haven’t been going great over in Madrid, although Zinedine Zidane bought himself some more time with a 3-1 win over Barcelona.
Should the megabucks of Real Madrid try and sign Roberto Firmino it is hard to imagine the Reds not cashing in on the forward as he is set to enter his 30s next season.
Liverpool could move for Haaland
If Roberto Firmino was sold then Liverpool could move for Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian forward has a release clause of around £68m according to Fabrizio Romano, although this isn’t active until 2022 the Germans would possibly do a deal for a smidge over that figure in the coming summer.
20-year-old Haaland would be the ideal replacement for Firmino – the youngster is energetic, presses with determination and grabs goals, a lot of them.
