Here is our predicted Liverpool lineup to face FC Midtjylland

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Thank goodness he’s back. Ali pulled off some smart stops at the weekend, his killer distribution will be crucial to hitting the visitors on the counter as they’re expected to rarely venture out.

Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold

The Scouser in our team was denied a worldie of an assist at the weekend, he’ll back one this week.

Centre back: Joe Gomez

The Englishman was solid as can be expected at the weekend and his passing was top notch, more of the same please JoGo.

Centre back: Fabinho

Fabby was unlucky to concede a pen at the weekend but he’ll put that behind him swiftly.

Left back: Andy Robertson

Andy Robbo, published author, has been in magnificent form this season, he’ll continue that in midweek.

Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson

The skipper will be crucial to keeping the intensity high.

Centre midfield: Thiago

The Spaniard will hopefully get an hour ahead of a visit from an in from West Ham United this weekend.

Centre midfield: Curtis Jones

The Scouser may well get another run out given how many subs the gaffer can make in the Champions League.

Right wing: Mo Salah

Mo came so close to a worldie of a goal at the weekend, he’ll bag one against the Danes.

Left wing: Sadio Mane

Sadio put in yet another strong performance at the weekend, his tenacity was rewarded with an assist.

Striker: Bobby Firmino

Bobby Firmino needs to step it up, he scored a tap in at the weekend but we need to see more of that signature flair in possession.
