Liverpool have got a bright future ahead of them with the wealth of young talents contracted to the club. There are fine prospects in every position, from Marcelo Pitaluga in goal to Billy Koumetio at the back and James Balagizi in the midfield. One of the club’s finest prospects has made a strong start to his loan spell – Harvey Elliott starred on his debut for Blackburn.
Harvey Elliott at Liverpool
Harvey Elliott was one of just two outfield signings last summer when he arrived from Fulham last summer, Sepp van den Berg the other signing arriving from PEC Zwolle.
The youngster chose a move to Liverpool despite interest from across the continent, including an approach from Real Madrid.
He had been breaking records in England, the youngest player to do this and that, his signing for Liverpool was an incredibly exciting one.
He has since made his debut in the cups for the Reds, as well as appearing in the Premier League – his debut coming as a substitute against Sheffield United in January of this year.

Harvey Elliott Blackburn debut
Liverpool loaned Harvey Elliott to Blackburn Rovers on deadline day.
The youngster was sent to the Championship for the season after the Reds decided to hold on to Xherdan Shaqiri and were knocked out of the EFL cup.
Given the Swiss star ahead of him and the lack of cup competition for him to play in, it made sense to give him game time in the second tier.
The youngster played the full 90 minutes as Blackburn lost 3-1 at Watford in midweek. The winger put in a strong performance despite not even being at the club a week.
Twitter reacts to Elliott debut

One fan account gave him Man of the Match.
Harvey Elliott my man of the match tonight for #Rovers. Barely put a foot wrong and looked classy at such a young age. Has to start at the weekend ✅

He could do with a haircut though couldn’t he?
Harvey Elliott, well then…
His barnet needs work, but that’s about the only negative.
Direct, comfortable in possession, and some excellent crosses into the box.
That said, I was most impressed with his defensive work. Tracked back and got stuck in, super showing!#rovers
