Liverpool fans must be hating the international break. The Reds were thrashed just before the break and Kopites will be itching to see their team set the record straight. Instead we are left in purgatory, waiting and hoping. We can take heart from some strong performances though, Liverpool fans are made up that Roberto Firmino has scored twice for Brazil.

We can all admit it, Roberto Firmino has not had the strongest start to the season.

The Brazilian hasn’t had the same impact he usually does, despite registering two assists in the league so far.

His non-involvement in the travesty of a loss at Villa Park has led to many questioning whether or not he should be in the starting lineup against Everton.

The best thing you can do after a poor performance is put in a good performance, remind everybody how good you are.

That is just what Roberto Firmino has done, the South American striker has netted twice for his country during this international break.

The forward bagged a brace in a 5-0 dismantling of Bolivia in World Cup qualifying.

Given how torrid of a time he’s had in front of goal for the Reds it will be a relief for Kopites to see him scoring.

One fan is hoping our number nine will be firing for us again in no time.

Maybe it’ll give him the boost he needs.

Is the gaffer not fully utilising some of his top talents?

Can he keep it up upon his return?

Can he keep it up before his return?

If only we were there to sing his song for him to encourage him into better form.
