Liverpool can boast one of the most impressive transfer windows of the season. The Reds have brought in a solid backup left back, an exciting young forward and an elite centre midfielder, all for a miniscule net spend. Other clubs haven’t fared as well. Some Red Devils fans are worried that Liverpool will sign Jadon Sancho after Manchester United missed out on the youngster.
Jadon Sancho in numbers
At just 20-years-old, Jadon Sancho is already tearing the German Bundesliga apart.
The English winger netted 17 goals and bagged 16 assists in 32 league appearances last season.
The season before he bagged 12 goals and 14 assists in the Bundesliga across 34 appearances.
His statistics are just frighteningly good, even more so when you consider how much time he has left to develop.
Manchester United fail to land Sancho
All summer the Manchester United pursuit of Jadon Sancho dominated the news.
The Red Devils were trying to haggle for the youngster after being told the price tag was £108m and the deadline was the 10th of August.
No deal came to fruition. As a result Liverpool still have a chance of landing Jadon Sancho next summer.
It’s safe to say that some Kopites are excited by the prospect and some Manchester United fans are terrified about the idea.
