Liverpool still have some deals to get over the line before the deadline slams shut today. However, any deals completed today are likely to be outgoing moves. Grujic at Liverpool

Marko Grujic was actually the first signing of the Jürgen Klopp era at Anfield.

The Serbian joined the Reds in 2016, arriving from Red Star Belgrade as a highly rated 19-year-old.

Compared to the good and the great at the time, some corners believing him to be the next Steven Gerrard, Kopites were excited by his arrival.

The midfielder was loaned out to Cardiff City and Hertha Berlin in an effort to get him some first team experience.

The German Bundesliga side are looking to get the deal done in a hurry with the transfer window shutting today.

The Serbian is said to be keen on the move, at the age of 24-years-old he will be looking to settle somewhere and gain some valuable first team minutes, minutes he’s unlikely to get in this Liverpool side.

It’s safe to say some are disappointed.

Some believe he may still be needed.

Given that Fabby may need to drop back into defence it may be wise to keep Marko around.

Some really want to keep him.

Whilst others are content with the move as long as we’ve got a guaranteed sale at the end of it.

Maybe he could do a better job in goal than Adrian?
