Liverpool have finally started kicking off their transfer business and in true FSG fashion they seem set to make a string of announcements out of nowhere. The Reds appear to be set to sign Diogo Jota for a fee of £35m, although he won’t be available this weekend. However, Liverpool have apparently signed Thiago in time for him to face Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool sign Thiago
Ha. Ha ha ha.
We finally did it.
Liverpool signed Thiago Alcantara, one of the best midfielders in world football, for just £20m guaranteed. £5m up front.
The deal has ignited joy in the Anfield faithful, many of whom have been sweating on the transfer all summer.
We were linked with him months ago after it emerged that he wanted a new challenge and wouldn’t be signing a new deal with Bayern Munich. Finally, it is done.
Thiago available for Chelsea game
According to Carl Markham of PA Media, Liverpool have gotten their paperwork in in time for Thiago to play against Chelsea this Sunday.
The Reds are taking on Frank Lampard’s Globo Gym Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the end of the weekend.
The tie is tipped to have some significant bearing on the title race given that the Chels have spent so heavily throughout the summer.
What RTK has to say
If Thiago is available against Chelsea then great.
However, it is unlikely that Jürgen Klopp would be willing to include the Spaniard in the side.
Given how little time he would have to understand the system, it is far too big a game to throw him into the side, unless we are 4-0 up with 10 minutes to go.
When you have a superstar striker you can gamble him. Someone in the middle of the park you can’t risk in such a titanic fixture.
We will see him soon, just not this weekend.
