Liverpool have been quiet in the transfer market this summer. The Reds have waited until the start of the season to get their marquee signings in with a move for Thiago Alcantara set to be completed in the coming days. The Spaniard has posted a farewell message on social media, the Bayern Munich team have reacted to the Thiago farewell.

Liverpool to sign Thiago
After months of Kopites being in the lurch, waiting to find out whether or not they’ll land their dream signing. Liverpool appear to have wrapped up a deal for Thiago Alcantara.
The Spanish playmaker had told Bayern Munich that he didn’t want to sign a new contract a she entered the final year of his deal.
Paul Joyce has confirmed that Liverpool will sign Thiago for an initial fee of £20m (spread over four years) and £5m in bonuses.
Thiago Farewell
The Spaniard has posted a parting message on his social media channels.
The decision was a sporting one according to the playmaker, he wanted to impress upon the Munich faithful that he will always be thankful and will always remember his time at the Allianz.
However, having won everything there was to win, he has elected to seek a new challenge.

Robert Lewandowski said it was a pleasure to play with the little magician.
He also thanked the Spaniard in the comments of his Instagram post.
Manuel Neuer offered hearts in the comments section, whilst Jerome Boateng thanked him for his time at the club.
Benjamin Pavard emotionally referred to the midfielder as his brother.
All in all there were dozens of heart emojis from across the Bayern family, from the playing staff to wives and family members.
