Liverpool haven’t done much business this summer. The Reds have brought in Kostas Tsimikas after selling Dejan Lovren, apart from the Greek’s arrival the only additions have been to the academy. There seems to be another imminent arrival at Anfield, the Liverpool signing of Marcelo Pitaluga appears to have been confirmed on Instagram.

Liverpool signing Pitaluga
Globo Esporte this week reported that Liverpool would soon complete the signing of Marcelo Pitaluga.
The youngster will be joining for around £1.8m with £1m to be paid up front.
The signing has seemingly been confirmed on Instagram with the goalkeeper reposting well wishes to his story, perhaps the most telling being a photo of himself with his agent tagged at the Rio airport with the caption “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
In his tagged photos there is also a message from a club doctor, wishing the youngster luck on his journey with Liverpool.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Marcelo Pitaluga makes sense.
The youngster is reportedly set to be the ‘heir’ to Alisson Becker.
Signing him so young will surely aid his development as he will be able to work closely with Ali over the years, picking up the tricks of the trade from the best in the game.
He can also flourish without the burden of a massive fee or media storm ahead of his arrival.
