Today Liverpool visit Newcastle United for the final game of their title winning season. The Reds will be looking to cap off their record breaking season in style, given that neither team has anything to play for we can only hope that Jürgen Klopp’s men turn it on. Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

The Brazilian is unlucky to not be getting the Golden Glove this year, he is currently two off the lead and would certainly have cruised to the title had he not been injured twice this season.

Right back: Neco Williams

The Welshman gets another run out with Trent left on the bench.

Centre back: Joe Gomez

The Englishman needs to keep his concentration today, there’s nothing to play for at the moment and that has occasionally creeped into Gomez’s game.

Centre back: Virgil van Dijk

Big Virg has checked out since we won the league, a more familiar performance from the big man would be welcome.

Left back: Andy Robertson

The Scotsman has been praised this week for the part he played in the Reds’ 5th against Chelsea, he’ll be back at his best again today.

Defensive midfield: James Milner

The best defensive midfielder in the world is dropped to the bench for the effervescent James Milner.

Centre midfield: Naby Keita

Naby LAD is in the form of his Liverpool life at the minute, we’ll be expecting more of the same against Newcastle.

Centre midfield: Gini Wijnaldum

The Dutch maestro starts in midfield, he’ll be working double time covering Keita’s runs forward.

Right wing: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The Ox gets another chance to prove his worth today after a few shaky performances were balanced out by a goal against Chelsea.

Left wing: Divock Origi

Big Div may be on the wing or it may be Taki, either way they both have a point to prove.

Striker: Takumi Minamino

Taki gets a chance to bag a Premier League goal before the end of the season, we’ll be expecting big things next campaign.
