Now that the season is wrapped up and Liverpool have little to play for there isn’t much left for Kopites to get excited about, as a result Reds fans are looking to the future. Rhian Brewster scored yet another goal for Swansea City this weekend and Liverpool fans have been drooling over his finish.
Brewster joined the Swans on loan this January has been enjoying his time in Wales. He has netted seven goals in 14 games for his loan club, his most recent goal putting his side ahead in a game the Swans had to win to keep their distant playoff hopes alive.
After 52 minutes the 20-year-old netted against the run of play having lived off scraps for the majority of the game. His awareness, concentration and finishing ability all exhibited by his clinical finish despite not seeing much of the ball beforehand.
With Timo Werner having joined Chelsea there is a feeling that Brewster may be given a shot in the first team next season, as such his form in the Championship has been of a particular interest to Kopites. The Rhian Brewster goal against Sheffield Wednesday has delighted Kopites.
One fan was so impressed he implored the club to bring him back for the remainder of the season…probably not the brightest idea.

One Kopite pointed out that the striker could provide Roberto Firmino with some competition next season.
Brewster on the scoresheet again. Think it’s time he gets his chance next season. It’s time for Firmino to have actual competition. He really has fell of recently… pic.twitter.com/vQTFg1qaEf
