Kopites fans will need to strap in for a long summer. The Reds have won the league and their number one transfer target has signed for Chelsea. Therefore tabloids will be linking Jürgen Klopp’s side with all and sundry, there will be thousands of players ‘set to be announced next week’. Twitter has been reacting to reports that Liverpool have agreed a deal with Thiago Alcantara of Bayern Munich.
There have been questions raised about the credibility of the rumours and rightly so; Liverpool signing Thiago would be very out of character. He is nearly 30-years-old and would become one of the club’s top earners. However, Kopites have pointed out that Varsky Sports have previously been on the money when the Reds signed Sadio Mane and Mario Balotelli.
The Spaniard has won an embarrassment of trophies during his career including league titles in Spain and Germany as well as the Champions League with Barcelona. He would bring a creative spark to the Liverpool midfield that Kopites have been crying out for. I personally have never gotten over the sale of Xabi Alonso.
It is safe to say that Reds are excited by the rumours.
Let’s see what happens with Thiago but no doubt he is a top player. Would bring some extra creativity to the Liverpool squad.pic.twitter.com/TWWkFiv5oO

Though some are concerned about the maestro’s injury record.
That much for a 29 year old injury prone guy on very high wages? Man I hope not.

Despite his patchy medical history there can be no denying his quality.
100% – he’s world class

Even Arsenal fans are worried about the impact he could have.
They would win the league again if they sign him

Kevin Palmer believes that signing the Spaniard would be testament to the lure of playing for Jürgen Klopp.
Thiago Alcantara is clearly tempted by a move to Liverpool and what a great signing he would be.

Although some Kopites are worried that the rumours are just a tactic to get the midfielder improved terms in Munich.
Would love to believe it but stinks of a new contract incoming
