The Reds have been linked with a move for Sancho for over a year now.

The English winger has established himself as the brightest young winger in world football.

Sancho entered his 20s just last week, his teenage years saw him score an extraordinary amount of goals for Borussia Dortmund.

During this Bundesliga campaign, Dortmund’s prodigy has scored 14 goals and bagged 15 assists in 23 games.

His white hot form at an early age has drawn the interest of a host of clubs, he is widely tipped to move to the Premier League over the summer.

Raphinha, Coutinho and Tielemans: The signings Liverpool could make this summer

According to The Irish Independent, Liverpool will lose the race for Jadon Sancho to their arch rivals Manchester United.

The Old Trafford club are said to be pulling out all the stops to bring the forward back to Manchester, with Ed Woodward prepared to offer the winger up to £400,000 a week.

What RTK has to say

We absolutely cannot let our rivals get one over us here.

Previously we voiced the opinion that Liverpool losing Sancho to Manchester United wouldn’t be the end of the world as he can’t bridge the gap on his own.

However, the thinking has changed. Whilst Sancho is unlikely to elevate United into our headlights, it would be a travesty to not have him at Anfield, no matter where he ends up.

He is certain to be one of the leading lights of the next generation, we should pull out all the stops to sign him.
