The FA Cup is one of the most coveted prizes in cup football. On Tuesday night two old enemies go at it for a place in the quarter final draw. Chelsea have an incredible five players injured for the Liverpool tie.

The Reds take on the West Londoners at Stamford Bridge with Jürgen Klopp’s men looking to bounce back from their first league defeat in 44 games.
Frank Lampard’s side are also out for blood having failed to beat a struggling Bournemouth side on Saturday.
The Liverpool ECHO today reported from Frank Lampard’s press conference where he confirmed that Chelsea have five players injured for the Liverpool tie:
“[Andreas] Christensen has a small issue, probably puts him out for tomorrow.
No returns. [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek is playing in the U23s tonight. No [Tammy] Abraham, [N’Golo] Kante, [Christian] Pulisic.”
What RTK has to say
Christensen will be a big loss for the Blues in defence.
The Dane is an intelligent defender, his anticipation makes up for him not being the strongest centre back physically.
Elsewhere, Tammy Abraham’s absence is also great for Liverpool – even though it was expected.
The English striker has had a breakthrough season at The Bridge and will be gutted to miss the chance to take on The Reds in the cup.
Of course, N’Golo Kante is the biggest miss for the hosts. The Frenchman is one of the most dynamic midfielders of the last decade, his work rate makes him a nightmare to play against and he always steps it up a level for big games.
The missing pace of Christian Pulisic will be a relief for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
