Liverpool’s medical team has been in the midst of an overhaul of late.

The club will soon be losing head of medical services Andrew Massey to FIFA and physio Richie Partridge to the Qatari national side.

The Reds have already secured Arsenal’s Gary O’Driscoll to replace Andrew Massey and now look to have found a replacement for the outgoing Richie Partridge.

According to The Evening Standard, Liverpool will turn to Manchester City with a view to poaching physio Steve Lilley from the club.

What RTK has to say

Liverpool taking absolutely anybody from Manchester City is a yes from us, even if its a physio.

The Reds strengthening at their rivals expense can never be a bad thing. It is also encouraging to see that the club are acting swiftly to make sure they aren’t left shorthanded by the medical team’s impending departures.

We can also have faith that Steve Lilley is good at his job, at the start of the season we were told Aymeric Laporte would be missing from the side until around March but he began popping up in the side in mid-January.
