Liverpool have been masters of the transfer market in recent seasons. They haven’t put a foot wrong since Jürgen Klopp’s arrival – the only signing with a question mark by his name is Naby Keita and that is mainly down to his fitness issues. The Reds could be set to make another massive profit on a player with reports in Spain claiming Real Madrid are plotting a €150m Mo Salah bid.
Liverpool signed Mo Salah from Roma in 2017, paying the Italian giants £34m for the winger.
Since arriving at Anfield, the Egyptian King has broken records for fun. In his first season at the club he claimed the title for most goals in a Premier League season, netting 32 in the 2017/18 campaign.
His ability and credentials are in no doubt. He is much appreciated by the Kop and is tied to the club until 2023.
According to Eldesmarque in Spain, Real Madrid are planning a €150m bid for Mo Salah with a view to bringing him to the Bernabeu in the summer.
The outlet claim that Los Blancos’ preferred target is Kylian Mbappe but they can’t afford the youthful Frenchman.
What RTK has to say
Whilst Real Madrid taking Mo Salah off us wouldn’t be ideal it certainly wouldn’t be the end of the world.
If The Reds sell the Egyptian King we can expect the funds to be invested wisely, we can also a lot of funds to be available for investment.
Salah joining Madrid could well open the door for the much rumoured Mbappe2020 move. The Frenchman is likely to cost a king’s ransom, if we sold Mo for around £150m and brought in Mbappe for around £200m there would be few complaints from the Kop.
