How Liverpool could be at the centre of monumental transfer window

Liverpool are going to be heading into the summer transfer window in the strongest possible position. The Reds will enter the summer as Premier League champions, world champions and potentially as consecutive European champions. We believe Liverpool could be at the centre of a monumental transfer window.

At the minute Liverpool are 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

There are a number of records that The Reds can break this season, ranging from an historic points total to the earliest ever title win.

One thing is for certain, Liverpool will finish miles ahead of the rest of the pack, this means that the rest of the league have a lot of ground to make up.

We may possibly see Liverpool spark a monumental transfer window as the rest of the Premier League scramble to bridge the 20+ point gap.

This hysteria could spread even further if Liverpool retain the Champions League; the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are unlikely to take kindly to The Reds dominating the competition.

With Madrid in particular having a reputation for spending big to paper over cracks, if The Reds are once again crowned European champions then Los Blancos could make some big money moves.

Michael Edwards will also be active in the window, with the Nike deal adding to already healthy Anfield finances we can expect some money to be spent by The Reds.

This all points towards a potential megabucks merry go round taking off over the summer, with Liverpool spending their spoils of victory and other sides throwing money at the chasm between themselves and Jürgen Klopp’s side.

We haven’t seen a side so dominant in a while, there’s no telling just how far clubs may go in July and August as they bid to put an end to this dominance, this could be a monumental transfer window.
