This Saturday saw Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to an incredible 25 points. The Reds stuck at it to beat bottom of the table Norwich despite having to shake off the winter break cobwebs in the blowing gales of the approaching Storm Dennis. Liverpool fans have piled in on Martin Tyler following the game.

It was a tough slog getting past The Canaries on Saturday but get past them The Reds did.

Daniel Farke’s side were resolute in defence and seemed determined to pull off an upset by denying Liverpool a 17th consecutive win.

However, Liverpool did what they do, they kept bombarding the Norwich box with tiki-taka football on the edge of the 18 and long balls raked in from the halfway line.

Something had to give and it did when Jordan Henderson’s long ball found Sadio Mane – the Senegalese winger swiveled and fired past Tim Krul at his near post to give The Reds a 1-0 win.

Liverpool fans were once again less than impressed with Martin Tyler after the game, with Kopites taking to Twitter to lambast the lacklustre commentator.

One tweeter was confused by Tyler’s congratulations of the hosts after their uninspiring first half showing.

An Arsenal fan joined in, saying that the commentator’s lack of enthusiasm for Liverpool is just a fact of football, it’s been that way for years now.

One Kopite saw the funnier side of his commentary, relishing the fact that he just has to keep on watching us win.

And we also get to hear the disappointment in his voice when we don’t drop any points….again.

Carl pointed out that how ridiculous his comments about Sadio’s goal were. Shame on us for using our first team.

This Kopite feels that Tyler is just getting worse and worse.

However, two Liverpool fans feel they know just the man to replace Martin Tyler.
