Liverpool face Shrewsbury Town on Sunday in the FA Cup Fourth Round. Here are three Liverpool players who must take any chance they get.
Dejan Lovren
The Guardian claim that Jurgen Klopp will start Lovren on Sunday. It would be his first appearance since going off against RB Salzburg on December 10th and an opportunity he can’t miss.

Lovren was ahead of Joe Gomez in the pecking order back then. Now, however, he’s firmly fourth-choice. Gomez has been incredible as the Reds racked up clean sheet after clean sheet. With Joel Matip set to return, too, Lovren could find his chances severely limited if he doesn’t impress.
Adam Lallana
There was an opportunity to break into Liverpool’s midfield after Fabinho’s injury. No one really took it, however, and now that the Brazilian is back, he may well slot right back in.
If Lallana wants games before the end of the season, he’s got to catch the eye in games like this. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is playing in the Premier League, limiting Lallana’s outings. He simply must prove he’s still a good option.
Divock Origi
It was a worrying sign for Origi that Klopp chose Takumi Minamino as Sadio Mane’s replacement at the weekend. Klopp clearly thought Minamino would be a better bet on that left flank but Origi has been the backup there for some time.

Origi then has to prove he’s still as clinical as ever – his greatest trait and one Liverpool can’t afford to lose. A game against Shrewsbury is a good time to show he can finish his chances as he’s bound to get them.
If he starts against Shrewsbury, Origi has got to prove he’s still a reliable option for Liverpool.
