Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson was in the firing line after failing to impress for Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old midfielder and his teammates suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Watford.
Without a win in five Premier League games, Eddie Howe’s team appear to be in free fall.
While the Hornets, on the other hand, have been rejuvenated under new boss Nigel Pearson.
With the win they have now move out of the relegation zone and the Cherries slipped to 19th in the table after the defeat.

The must-win game for both sides was in the balance for most of the first half. On 42 minutes Watford took the lead courtesy of an Abdoulaye Doucoure goal. The powerful midfielder capitalised on a mistake from Bournemouth ‘keeper Mark Travers to break the deadlock. Watford captain Troy Deeney doubled their lead mid-way through the second half. The 31-year-old lashed home his fourth Premier League goal of the season after the ball fell kindly to him in the box.
Despite pushing Watford’s third goal didn’t come until deep into stoppage time. Roberto Pereyra scored a fantastic volley after 92 minutes to claim all three points. It really was one of the best performances from this Watford side all season. Whilst the less said about Bournemouth performance the better.
The Welsh international Wilson was singled out for criticism after the game. Liverpool fans took to social media to question his display, whilst some even questioned his ability. Here’s just some of the reaction from Twitter.
This Liverpool fan finds the widely held belief that Harry Wilson is good enough for Jurgen Klopps team laughable.

One Liverpool fan believed the negativity towards our prospects is part of a wider conspiracy against the club.
The fact that Harry Wilson and Rhian Brewster is trending shows the obsession and agenda against Liverpool to try their best to put Liverpool down, embarrassing

Lastly this Red wants the club to recall Wilson or send him to another club for the rest of the season.
