Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Ali will be looking to build on his quiet but successful midweek performance. The keeper registered his first clean sheet of the season against Bournemouth.

Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold

We will need Trent at his best this evening, with the Austrians flying forward we will be looking for Alexander-Arnold to ping some of his trademark long range balls to launch counter attacks.

Centre back: Virgil van Dijk

With the prodigious Erling Håland to contend with, Big Virg will have his hands full.

Centre back: Dejan Lovren

Dejan Lovren limped off at the weekend, but he is fit to play this evening. Gomez will be looking to reclaim his spot in the first team if he pulls up again.

Left back: Andy Robertson

With the gaffer having taken Robbo off at the weekend he will be fully charged for the crunch clash.

Raphinha, Coutinho and Tielemans: The signings Liverpool could make this summer

Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson

Our skipper pulled off a magnificent assist for The Ox at the weekend, fingers crossed he repeats the trick this evening.

Centre midfield: Naby Keita

The Guinean midfielder had a blinder at the weekend and will be looking to cement his place with another strong showing this evening.

Centre midfield: Gini Wijnaldum

Gini steps up for European games, more of the same please.

Right wing: Mo Salah

A goal and assist at the weekend means Mo Salah keeps his place in the Liverpool lineup to face RB Salzburg.

Striker: Bobby Firmino

The Austrians will attack from the off – there should be spaces for the Brazilian to exploit.

Left wing: Sadio Mane

Our go to man this season, Sadio will need to pull out a big performance this evening.
