The Reds are at it again. Liverpool once again have left it until matchday six to qualify from the group stage of the Champions League. Jürgen Klopp’s men will make it to the knockout rounds if they avoid defeat in Austria, they will win the group if they beat their hosts. Here is our predicted Liverpool lineup to face RB Salzburg.

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker
Alisson kept his first Premier League clean sheet of the season at the weekend. He will be looking to build on his successful, if quiet weekend performance.
Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold
The Scouser in our team was bright as ever in possession at the weekend. In a game that will likely rely on us out scoring the gregarious Austrians, Trent will be vital.
Centre back: Virgil van Dijk
Big Virg will have his hands full with Erling Håland.
Centre back: Joe Gomez
With Dejan Lovren limping off at the weekend, it is unlikely that he will be risked. Gomez will be looking to reclaim his spot in the first team.
Left back: Andy Robertson
Robbo’s importance to the Liverpool lineup against RB Salzburg was highlighted by his substitution at the weekend – the boss wants him fresh.
Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson
Jord was fantastic in the holding role against Bournemouth but he will have a much more difficult task in Salzburg.
Centre midfield: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Ox has been sensational since his return to the lineup. We will need him keeping the tempo high when we are in possession.
Centre midfield: Gini Wijnaldum
The Dutchman is a Champions League specialist.
Right wing: Mo Salah
Hot off a strong weekend performance, we will need a big game from the Egyptian King.
Striker: Bobby Firmino
With Salzburg needing to attack, there will likely be spaces for our number nine to exploit.
Left wing: Sadio Mane
He hasn’t let us down this season, fingers crossed Sadio nets against his former club.
