With such a vast and talented youth set up, Liverpool have players from all over the world out on loan all over the world. One such player is Liam Millar, the striker is currently out on loan at Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League. The 20-year-old has come in for some stern encouragement from his manager.
Liam Millar had an impressive game for Kilmarnock at the weekend. Killie were 2-0 down to Hibernian after 47 minutes and were looking hopeless. The Canadian loanee came on at the hour mark and rejuvenated his side’s offensive play.
Millar was direct, tricky and pacy when on the ball and regularly helped threaten the Hibs back line. Speaking to Not The Old Firm after the game, Killie boss Angelo Alessio said of Millar:
“In the last period he didn’t play regularly but I know he has good skills. He showed that. But I want more because he has quality to play well. He’s young and he can improve a lot.”

It is good to hear that Liam Millar is well thought of at Kilmarnock. At 20-years-old he really has to be kicking on if he ever wants to push into the Liverpool team.
It looks unlikely that the Canadian will find himself in Jürgen Klopp‘s plans any time soon. However, it is positive for the Reds that the youngster is impressing when he gets his chance as it will maximise his value if we do look to move the starlet on permanently.
