Liverpool are unstoppable at the minute. The Reds are yet to lose in the league this season and are eight points clear at the top of the table. One of the keys to our success has been the unity of the squad, staff and fans. Sadio Mane has spoken of just what makes Jürgen Klopp “the best in the world”.
Sadio was the German’s first major signing at Liverpool. The Reds paid Southampton £34m for the Senegalese winger in 2016. Since then the ex-Saints winger has claimed a third of the Premier League Golden Boot and a Champions League winners medal.
Speaking to the Liverpool FC Monthly Magazine, Mane said:
“There are a lot of good managers in Europe but what I can say is that our manager always has the right words and the right things to manage his team, especially knowing how to deal with his team. I would always trust his influence on the team. He is a winner and I would say he is the best in the world.”
What RTK has to say
Sadio Mane has a special relationship with Jürgen Klopp. You can tell that the pair understand and respect each other deeply and that has been crucial to the week on week improvement of the forward.
Perhaps the most important part of Sadio’s praise is his mentioning of ‘the right words’ – this sums up Klopp. There are few better man managers in the football world. How many other coaches would be able to galvanise their team to beat Barcelona 4-0, without two of their star players? The German looks set to cement his place as the best in the world for years to come as the Reds are showing no signs of relenting.
