Tottenham Hotspur is in total disarray at the minute. The North London club have just sacked Mauricio Pochettino and replaced him with Jose Mourinho. It will all take a lot of getting used to. Whilst the football world was debating the merits of the managerial change, Kopites were doing something completely different: begging Liverpool to sign Son Heung Min.
Brazil faced South Korea in an international friendly the night that Pochettino got the boot. After the game a video emerged of Fabinho swapping shirts with Son before Roberto Firmino went over for a chat with the Korean.
Liverpool fans went into instant meltdown, hashtagging #Son2020 ad infinitum, begging Jürgen Klopp to bring the forward to Anfield.
Although chances of the transfer going through are slim to none, he would be an ideal fit for the Reds. The South Korean has pace to burn, a solid work rate, finishing ability and versatility.
At the start of October, we suggested that the Reds should take a leaf out Manchester United’s book and go after their rival’s best players. Now we aren’t the only ones calling for Liverpool to sign Son Heung Min.
This Kopite was quick off the mark, certain that the shirt swapping had some significance.

Grizz Khan was resolute in his opinion that the South Korean was made for this Liverpool side.

One fan joked that the Reds were breaking the news to him about Poch, whilst also offering him some consolation.
Bobby: “Ay Sonny you heard the news? Poch is sacked & It’s time for you now to join the greatest team in the world. Klopp is waiting for you at Melwood cheers mate see you there” #Son2020 pic.twitter.com/7lhvYp4epI

This supporter would take Son over any other Spurs player.
Poch was always going to leave Spurs and if they sell Alli, Son and Kane they’re finished.
Who would you take? For me #Son2020 all day.

One Kopite is convinced it’s just a matter of time until it’s official.
When is the announcement? #Son2020

But of course, there has to be the ceremonial changeover of agenda. Goodbye #Mbappe2020, hello #Son2020.
