With Jürgen Klopp’s transfer policy of late showing a predilection for inexpensive, young talents, it is no surprise that we find ourselves linked with the most impressive teenagers on the continent. Back in October, Liverpool were linked with Dominik Szoboszlai – The Liverpool ECHO reporting the interest. The Reds could face competition from Arsenal according to Football Insider.

The Football Insider report asserts that Arsenal are planning to send scouts to suss out Red Bull Salzburg‘s Hungarian playmaker. The article also states that the Gunners failed with a summer bid for the youngster and are looking to bring him in as early as January.
Szoboszlai has been in impressive form this season, registering three goals in nine starts across the Champions League and Austrian top flight.

What RTK has to say
If Liverpool want Dominik Szoboszlai, they will get him. The Reds have never been in a stronger position in the transfer market; record profits and success on the pitch make Anfield one of the most enticing prospects in the world for any ambitious young footballer. Klopp is familiar with the lad having faced him in the Champions League this season.
The Hungarian would add a new dimension to the midfield as he is more of an attacking, flair player than the current Reds roster has to offer. Liverpool are yet to replace the dribbling and passing ability of Philippe Coutinho, a bright young playmaker such as Szoboszlai could fill this gap in the future.
Future is the key word. At just 19-years-old, it is unlikely that the Red Bull Salzburg midfielder would threaten the starting XI immediately and he would likely find himself having to battle for a place in the side if he arrived at Melwood.
