The youngster truly dominated the game against Barry Lewtas’s side last weekend.

West Brom U18’s raced into 6-0 lead in the first half and had Malcolm to thank for it.

A truly top-class performance saw him score four goals in 33 minutes, each one different from the last.

The first was a lovely chipped finish over the Liverpool ‘keeper. His second goal came from chasing down the Reds defenders, winning the ball back and slotting home. The third was a drilled shot from outside the area and his last was a headed finish from close range.

An impressive performance has apparently prompted interest from Liverpool.

The Reds will face stiff competition with several Premier League elite clubs also interested in Malcolm. Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are all reported to be chasing his signature.

The Baggies will be desperate to hang on to their prized asset. Slaven Bilic’s men are currently flying in the Championship and could offer the player Premier League football sooner rather than later.

West Brom are also his quickest route to first team football and he may see his foreseeable future at the Hawthorns.

Malcolm is one of the brightest talents in the country right now. Liverpool would be smart to snap him us as soon as possible. Just to stop him scoring against us if nothing else.
