There have been conflicting claims regarding Liverpool ‘interest’ in Ryan Fraser over the past 24 hours.
A deal might end up being a good move for the Reds.
The 25-year-old is in the last year of his contract and yesterday talkSPORT reported Liverpool to be in the mix.
However those claims were rubbished by the Liverpool Echo who believe Jurgen Klopp is happy with his attacking options.
Here’s why we’d be in favour of a move…

Despite Liverpool being reportedly happy with our attacking options, you can never have too much talent in your squad. Fraser is a talented player and his stats last season prove that.
The 11-capped Scotland international scored seven goals and provided 14 assists in the Premier League. He remains the competitions most prolific provider since the start of last season. Surrounded by the talented Liverpool attackers the sky really would be the limit for Fraser.
At just 25-years-old Fraser is already looking a serious player. In the right team he could come on leaps and bounds. Bournemouth are with all due respect a few levels below a team like Liverpool and players like Fraser cannot explore their full potential until they step up to a bigger club.
Still so young he could head to Merseyside and become even better. He’s certainly got time on his side.
The Bournemouth winger is into the final year of his contract at the Vitality Stadium. Fraser appears intent on running down his deal but the Cherries may look to cash in on the player in January. Any deal for the Scot will be seriously reduced in price and the Reds could spend very little money on such a talented player.
Should we wait until the summer Liverpool would pay absolutely nothing for the player. The Reds would be silly to pass up such a bargain.
