Liverpool fans have finally come up with a song for Alisson Becker. However, it has caused controversy on Twitter with many Celtic fans moaning that Reds have lifted the chant from the Bhoys in Glasgow.

Alisson arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2018 after the Reds paid Roma £66.8m for the keeper. Since becoming the Liverpool number one Alisson has been named by FIFA as the best goalkeeper in the world, he has been named in the FIFPro World XI and won both the Premier League Golden Glove and the Copa America golden glove.

Prior to the addition of Becker, the Reds had a solid defence but lacked a world class goalkeeper. Loris Karius famously made two game defining errors in the 2018 Champions League final.

The Liverpool fans’ new song for Alisson Becker has definitely been lifted from Celtic supporters. However, it is odd that the Scottish fans are so incensed about the borrowing.

There has been a longstanding positive relationship between Celtic and Liverpool. The Scottish side even adopted singing You’ll Never Walk Alone at Celtic Park.

This Celtic fan feels like enough is enough and clearly has a long list of grievances.

Another of the Bhoys joked about the extremes he feel Kopites will go to to copy his beloved Celtic.

And this Scotsman was simply cringing.

Whilst this Kopite pointed out that it is unlikely that Celtic originated the song.

One Liverpool fan stated the obvious.

But the most important thing is, of course, our number one finally getting the treatment he deserves.
