Liverpool travel to face Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend and the Reds go in search of a tenth league win of the season at Villa Park.

Dean Smith’s side sit 15th in the table with 11 points from 10 games. The Villans are more than capable of springing an upset at Villa Park.

Liverpool must stop three players in particular to ensure that doesn’t happen.

The 24-year-old Villa captain has been in fine form this season. With two goals and three assists, he has been a key player in Dean Smith’s side.

The Premier League has recognised his form by nominating him for October’s player of the month. Grealish is expected to start for Villa despite struggling with a calf injury. The Birmingham lad can cause Liverpool problems with his impressive dribbling and shooting.

The Scotland international has been nothing short of magnificent since joining Aston Villa. He was named player of the season by players and fans last term.

The jump in class to Premier League football has not fazed him at all. McGinn is Villa’s standout player scoring three goals from midfield and providing great energy in the heart of Dean Smith’s side.

The Brazilian is the man tasked with scoring the goals that keep Villa up. So far, he’s doing his job with four goals in eight games for his side.

The club’s current top scorer, he is certainly the biggest threat Saturday’s opponents have. Liverpool’s defence will need to keep him quiet to avoid an upset at Villa Park.
