Sadio Mane had the best possible reaction to Adam Lallana’s late equaliser against Manchester United – and fans loved it.
Liverpool stuttered for the vast majority of the 90 minutes. As a result, they never really looked comfortable and there was next to no fluidity throughout the team.

The Reds were able to click eventually, however, and pushed United back for the last ten. That period of dominance led to a deserved equaliser as Lallana popped up at the back post to score.
That led to some wild celebrations – from most of the Liverpool team, anyway.
But as teammates surrounded Lallana in front of the fans, Mane had other ideas. Liverpool’s number ten cut the celebrations short, in fact, as he pulled teammates away.

He wanted a winner – one point wasn’t enough here.
It’s a wonderful attitude and shows ‘elite mentality’. And needless to say, Liverpool fans loved the reaction from Mane.

Mane’s attitude is the one that will help deliver the Premier League trophy to Anfield this season. Liverpool must try and win every game because you can bet Manchester City will be.
The standards at the top are just too high for there to be any settling for a single point and Mane saw that, even in such a passionate moment.
It was brilliant thinking and in the end, exactly what you want to see from potential champions.
