Liverpool head to face Manchester United bigger favourites than ever before.

The Reds have looked immense in the Premier League while United have been nothing close to their best. However, form goes out the window in these games and anything can happen at Old Trafford this Sunday.

Liverpool should treat this game like a cup final for these three key reasons:

It’s Manchester United!

Despite our recent success, and United’s decline, this game is still the biggest in England. Both sets of supporters will desperately want to win and it is up to Liverpool to deliver.

For 30 years Liverpool fans have watched as United kept us off our perch. And there is no better way to reclaim it than proving our class at Old Trafford against our biggest rivals

We can make history

Liverpool head to face Manchester United as big favourites and hoping to continue a perfect start in the Premier League by claiming a ninth successive win.

However, the Reds’ current league win record stretches way back into the the previous campaign.

Jurgen Klopp’s men go in search of a record-equalling eighteenth consecutive Premier League win against bitter rivals United.

Games really don’t get bigger than this. Liverpool can beat their fierce rivals and make history with one win.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The Manchester United legend is hanging by a thread at Old Trafford right now. A reign that began in brilliant fashion has turned bad in recent times.

Call me bitter but I would love a Liverpool thumping to be the thing that triggers his exit. As much as you don’t like to see anyone lose their job, it would be perfect to see United turn on a club legend.

You really don’t get any lower than that.
